Aikido Auckland

The Institute of Aikido Auckland – Aikido on Auckland’s North Shore.
Learn Aikido for Fitness, Flexibility, Self Confidence & Self Defence.

Aikido classes teach you how to fall safely, boost energy levels and improve posture and core strength.
Aikido techniques do not rely on physical strength, making it suitable for a broad range of people of all ages.
Aikido redirects an attack instead of meeting force with force. It is a martial art and an effective form of self defence.
Aikido training consists of throw and pin techniques, and the study of bokken (wooden sword) and Jo (wooden staff).
