The 4th Annual Summer Camp hosted by the Institute of Aikido dojo in Silverdale, to the north of Auckland has now become a regular event and one of the highlights of the New Zealand martial arts calendar. This stunning custom-built 112 mat dojo is set in a beautiful rural landscape and overlooks a valley and forest. If the weather is good, some of the weapons classes may be held out on the lawns.
The event brings together Aikidoka from all over the country from all styles as well as guest instructors from other arts. This year see Krav Maga and Jitsu take their place alongside 9 very experience and varied Aikido instructors.
All Institute of Aikido dojos have an open door policy therefore everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or style.
