Is he :
A: Pushing air with his hand movement to blow out the candle?
B: Sneakily blowing the candle out, maybe via nasal breath?
C: actually using Ki extended to blow out the candle?
There are a lot of these kind of videos on Youtube. This piqued my interest though, have watched it a number of times now and still not 100% sure it’s a fake. Maybe about 98.5% sure LOL! Interested to hear everyone’s comments…
Thanks for taking the time to read this blog, and I hope it makes you want to find out more about Aikido

I think its B ..saw some minor pursing of lips and blowing a stream of air… LOL
I’m a firm believer in Ki, but that’s a little far fetched for me.
This is absolutely real…and not particularly impressive. I teach my 10 year old students this “trick” within their first year of class, usually using a fist, or even just a pointed finger. The motion of the strike moves air in the direction it was headed, which continues on for several inches to put the flame out. Try it, it’s easy!
